Type of service and challenge

Service: Installation, commissioning and restoration.
Challenge: Upon powering on the DCS, 8 out of 10 modules experienced massive failures, resulting in a six-month delay in delivery. This delay caused downtime for the main machine, necessitating heavy charges to be paid to the customer as per the bank guarantee.

Approach and Solution

Despite the unexpected scenario where eight modules experienced significant failures, calmly addressed every issue that arose. With the customer’s permission, opened the damaged modules there itself on site and proceeded to restore them on a component level.
To accomplish this, we arranged and gathered the required spares/components from various locations across India, utilizing our network. Ultimately, successful repairs were completed for seven modules.

Result and Outcome

Result: Within one week, the machine was operational and functioning efficiently, followed by the completion of the commissioning process.
Outcome: Received special appreciation from the customer for delivering exceptional and innovative work.
